Great suggestions! The HRM is a GREAT tool – I have used one for about 7 years now, and I couldn’t imagine a workout without one. It really shows you how hard you are actually doing, versus what you think you are!

Thanks for the tips. I’m a huge fan of your videos! So, I just got a gym membership. I’m noticing that I’m having some gym anxiety. I don’t even know if that’s real or not, but I’m intimidated by all the machines, etiquette, and having a proper effective workout. I was wondering if you had any gym newbie tips for me.

    • Hi Jenkakio! I am so glad you love my youtube videos. It is normal to have gym anxiety. I actually wrote a blog post for newbies, check it out. The best advice I can give you is that we all started where you are today. Don’t be intimidated, most of the time people are to focused on their own workout to pay attention to yours. Good Luck on your fitness journey! So proud you took the first step to get the membership. Let me know how it goes.
